Carving Class, Transformation and Fun!

Had an amazing time at my Carving class today. I was feeling a little stressed because my wrist was hurting (I have  history of chronic tendonitis and I sort of almost broke my wrist in Mexico) and I was wondering if I could actually do it.

But then I put on my brace and this very kind wise man Shane, he told me to get a clamp and showed me a few things and WOW, I was actually getting it.

I was having FUN, which is one of the things he keeps telling us, have fun, have fun. And then it was time to clean up and go home. Always happens like that.

And then the most amazing thing happened. I was so grateful that everything came together and I was feeling very hopeful and grateful when I saw something on the side walk and as I looked closer is was a caterpillar...a swallowtail.

I couldn't believe it. I picked it up with some leaves, and found a cup and brought it home to show Angel. We are pretty sure it's making a cocoon.

This is super exciting because in class we talk about transformation and we are supposed to be thinking of designs for our projects. I think I just got my sign. Feeling blessed!!
